Night at the Museum

October 4, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

This is your night to experience Glensheen – at night… for free.

On October 4th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Glensheen is opening their doors to you for FREE self-guided tours.

DISCLAIMER: Night at the Museum tours will reach capacity very quickly. Since the mansion tours fill at this event, not every Night at the Museum attendee will be able to tour the mansion. Reservations for tours will not be taken. It is first to come, first served. There is plenty of fun still to be had on the estate.

Explore the lakeside, 12-acre estate illuminated on a crisp fall night. See the picture-perfect stone bridge spotlighted and all of the lakeside of the mansion dramatically lit. Cap the night with a drink from a cash bar and a snack from food trucks on the estate.

Bring cash for food and beverage purchases.

Enter the estate through the Formal Entrance at West Gate just like a Congdon guest. Then enjoy a self-guided tour through the main floor, second floor and lower levels of the mansion.

Night at the Museum is a chance to see pieces of the collection not usually showcased… up close and personal.

To make this experience even more spectacular, Glensheen’s iconic locations on the grounds will be highlighted in ways you haven’t ever seen before.

Guests will receive a punch card when they arrive, outlining all the must-see stops. Turn in your completed punch card to be entered to win a free Premier Tour for two!

Tickets to tour the mansion will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis beginning at 6:00 pm. Tour capacity allows 15 people to enter the mansion every five minutes. Each ticket will be marked with a specific entry time. The last tour entry will be at 9:00 pm. Depending on attendance, not all visitors may be able to tour the inside of the mansion; however, ALL visitors are encouraged to explore the grounds and other buildings lit up and alive with action.

***Please note*** that this event involves excessive walking and several flights of stairs in the mansion. There are few places to sit and rest along the way. Please be mindful of these factors when choosing to attend Night at the Museum.
