From Greenhouse to Table

Most of us weren’t around in 1915, but we can imagine it being pretty hard to get a banana in the middle of winter in Duluth, MN. For the Congdon’s this task became a lot easier once they moved into Glensheen. Up until 1970 the Glensheen estate housed a 3000sq ft Greenhouse, this Greenhouse had four separate rooms and grew 6000+ seedlings per year.
