With warmer temps, here’s to spring!

The first few days of March were warm and pleasant with sunshine and snow melting. Hopefully the saying of “…in like a lamb and out like a lion…” goes easy on us in Duluth this March.

Here is what’s shakin’ at the ‘Sheen this March:

  • Glensheen Unplugged returns!
  • LAST TWO weekends of the 21+ Flashlight Tour
  • $5 Classic Tour Tuesdays are going strong

Warmer temps have arrived in the Northland and it’s spring break season. Summer is just around the corner! Here is what we have lined up for you this spring.

Glensheen Unplugged

Glensheen Unplugged is back for another round! This acoustic series is the chill, laid-back sibling of Concerts on the Pier.

Join us as we celebrate Minnesota music with an intimate acoustic concert series in the Amusement Room every Wednesday in March. Presented by The Current Duluth, this year’s series features performances by Chris Koza, Sarah Krueger, Ben Weaver and Dusty Heart along with locally inspired spirits by The Red Herring Lounge!

You don’t want to miss this truly authentic and super cool event. Who doesn’t like a little relaxation time with their laid-back, cool sibling?

21+ Flashlight Tour

The first two weekends of March are your last chance to try out the newly overhauled Flashlight Tour, now… the 21+ Flashlight Tour.

As part of your cost for admission, guests will receive a branded Glensheen Flashlight Tour pint glass with… a sippy cup cover. The cover allows you to bring your glass and alcoholic beverage INSIDE the mansion.

Drinking indoors may not seem like a big deal to those who have been drinking inside since the dawn of time. But, this is REVOLUTIONARY in the house museum world. Hence, we still want you to keep a lid on your drink 😉

21+ Flashlight Tours will be offered Friday and Saturday nights from 7:00 pm — 9:00 pm. 3.9, 3.10, 3.16 and 3.17 are the last dates.

Your best bet is always to purchase tickets online ahead of time at glensheen.org.

$5 Tuesdays

Now through the end of May, Classic Tours are $5 on Tuesdays, simple as that. When you take a Classic Tour on a Tuesday it will be $5 instead of $15.

$5 Tuesdays will be happening through the end of May. This is the only time of year that the Classic Tour is heavily discounted.

Any way you experience Glensheen this month, it’s going to be wonderful. This time of year is a good time to avoid the summer crowds and feel like you have the place to yourself.
