Christmas PhotoMeet at Glensheen

The mansion will be open for you to explore and capture our 25+ Christmas Trees, hundreds of feet of garland, and a sneak peek at the new Spirit of the Lights outdoor display.
This is the same night as the Spirit of the Lights Sneak Peek event. This event is for Glensheen members, VIPs, volunteers of past Spirit of the Lights, and local photographers.

To obtain an estimated number of people attending this event, we are asking that guests coming for the PhotoMeet portion RSVP by sending Marketing Manager, Jane Pederson, an email at janeped@d.umn.edu.

A prize for the Best Photo will be awarded! The best photo will win a Glensheen Candlelight Tour for two and a one night stay at a local hotel.

Please keep in mind that we will be inside the mansion. Glensheen is a museum and has a “no touching” policy to best preserve the mansion. We know it can be tough as cozy as the Christmas decor makes it feel! Please be mindful of this with tripods and setting up your shot.
