This is the perfect Imagine you and your family enjoying a perfect Duluth day on Glensheen’s Lake Superior shoreline with ice cream and a drink in hand. The kids can throw rocks into the Lake and eat local Love Creamery ice cream while you and your partner sit down and enjoy a local beer, glass of wine, or signature cocktail – the Sharktail.
What is Shark on the Lake?
Family-friendly, outdoor space with local Love Creamery ice cream and local drinks available for purchase.
When is Shark on the Lake open?
Open daily, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Does it cost money to attend?
FREE for tour guests & members
$5 Grounds Pass for the community // non-tour guests
Youth 15-years-old & under receive a FREE Grounds Pass with the purchase of an adult Grounds Pass
Where is it located exactly on the Glensheen estate?
Follow the yellow line from the parking lot to the Lake.
You will see the giant wooden shark, wood hut, and bar.
Is there seating available?
There are picnic tables and ample physical distance spacing
Is there food available?
Get food delivered, like Sammy’s pizza, right to the shore.
Yes, most places will deliver directly to your picnic table!

What kind of drinks are there?
Local beer like Bent Paddle and Castle Danger.
The signature cocktail is the Sharktail, made with liquor from Vikre Distillery.
