Community Day 2024 | FREE Classic Tours

Glensheen is excited to announce our annual Community Day event featuring FREE self-guided Classic Christmas Tours of the mansion on January 7, 2024. We are extremely grateful to the Duluth community for their continued support of our historic estate each year, and this day of free tours is our way of giving back to our community for that support.
Self-guided Classic Christmas tours will be offered from 9 AM – 5 PM on Community Day and reservations are not available or required. Classic Tours will be the only tour offered on this day and Glensheen will not offer Full Mansion tours on Sunday, January 7. All guests arriving by 5 PM will receive a free Classic Tour. When arriving, guests will be welcomed at the Ticket House and proceed to the Carriage House and Mansion for their self-guided tours.
January 7 will be the final day Glensheen is decked out for Christmas this season. This is the last chance to see the mansion decorated for the season with hundreds of feet of garland, thousands of Christmas lights, and trees of every style and color adorning each room. While on tour, guests can try to find 25 plush elves hidden throughout the mansion. The sneaky elves like to hide in funny places throughout the mansion, making for a great scavenger hunt for guests of all ages!
