Find the 25 hidden elves

Will you be able to I-spy all 25 hidden elves in the mansion?

There are 25 elves hidden throughout the mansion.  Kids (and kids at heart) love hunting for elves among the 25 Christmas trees and decked out mansion! All 25 elves and 25 Christmas trees can be seen on the Classic Tour.

We even offer an Elf Book to help you and your kiddos I-spy all of the elves and to make sure you don’t miss a Christmas Tree.

More mischievous elves

Find the mischievous little elves

New this time around on Christmas tours, there seem to be more elves that have snuck their way into the mansion. There are now 25 more little elves who are hidden in trickier hiding places than their fellow big elves for a total of 50 hidden elves in the mansion. Guests who find all the elves will be awarded a temporary tattoo claiming their “Elf Hunt Master” status. The Classic Tour is the best tour for families to I-spy all of the elves.

All participants of the elf hunt will receive an Elf Hunt Master temporary tattoo which is available in the Gift Shop at the end of the tour.

The Elf Book

Available for $1 at ticketing

Explore Glensheen with Eve the Elf as your guide! She will help make sure you don’t miss any of the 25 hidden elves and 25 Christmas trees. Plus, she shares exclusive information on objects in each room! This is the perfect activity to keep the kiddos engaged and excited on tour. Once you’ve I-spied all of the 25 elves, 25 trees, and items in the Elf Book, make sure to claim your prize at the end of the tour!

BYOS - Bring Your Own Snowshoes

Bring your own snowshoes to explore the 12-acre lakeside estate

We won’t be quite ready to offer you the snowshoe rentals on opening weekend (1/16/21 & 1/17/21). But that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to snowshoe at Glensheen. You are more than welcome to bring your own snowshoes!
Just check-in at the Carriage House when you arrive. Access to the grounds is included with the purchase of any mansion tour.
If you want to snowshoe the grounds without touring the mansion, you may purchase a $5 Grounds Admission.
There’s fresh snow in the forecast! So it should be a great weekend for snowshoeing. ❄️
Glensheen reopens this Saturday, January 16!
