Tim the Fox Coin Hunt
Starting Monday, May 24 the Coin Hunt will be back!
Last year’s popular estate Scavenger Hunt is back! We hide NEW coins every day. We call it… Tim the Fox’s Coin Hunt. With the purchase of a Grounds Admission or any mansion tour, all will have the chance to hunt for 10 coins hidden throughout the estate.
Once a guest finds a coin, they should bring it to the Carriage House Gift Shop for a FREE tattoo. Guests may keep the coins so once all 10 coins have been found for the day, they’re gone until the next day.
PRO TIP: They are hidden in areas we want guests to experience, like near chairs or pathways. We want them to be fairly easy to find for kids.
A few years ago, we started constantly seeing a fox on the estate. We saw it so often we named it Tim. Shortly after Tim started showing up, we were digging in the archives and found historic pictures of baby foxes and a fox den that was made on the estate! Therefore, we believe that Tim the Fox is a descendant of the historic family of foxes that made their home on the estate many years ago. 🦊
