Extras change seasonally. So if there is an extra you’re excited about, we highly recommend planning a trip sooner than later!
Glensheen's Elf Hunt
Daily 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
November 12 – January 9
Glensheen’s Elf Hunt
Calling all expert elf hunters!
25 nice elves are bringing the Christmas cheer to Glensheen once again and are hidden throughout the mansion.
Kids and kids-at-heart who find all 25 nice elves will be awarded an awesome temporary tattoo claiming their “Elf Hunt Master” status.
Finding the elves can get a little tricky! 25 naughty elves have also invaded the mansion and hidden in sneaky places. How can you tell the difference? That’s easy! The nice elves are bigger and have green shoes. The naughty elves are a little smaller and harder to find.
All of 25 nice elves can be found on the Classic Tour. Glensheen is open DAILY for Christmas tours from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
The Elf Hunt Treasure Book
Available for $1 at ticketing
Great for kids and kids at heart!
Explore Glensheen with Eve the Elf as your guide! She will help make sure you don’t miss any of the cool details (or hidden elves) while on your tour. Plus, she shares exclusive information on objects in each room! This is the perfect activity to keep the kiddos engaged and excited on tour. Once you’ve I-spied all of the items in the Treasure Book, make sure to claim your prize at the end of the tour!
Spirit of the Lights
FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
NOVEMBER 26 – JANUARY 1
ADDITIONAL DATES | DECEMBER 19 – 23, 26
Spirit of the Lights is Glensheen’s enchanting outdoor light display. This outdoor display is FREE and open to the public. Glensheen has been home to Spirit of the Lights since 2018, before then you may have known it as Marcia Hale’s famous Park Point Light Display.
The display is celebrated for its intimate and natural feel. Many of the motifs and displays are in memory of individuals or in recognition of meaningful moments. To say this is a uniquely special display is an understatement. 2021 marks the third year that Spirit of the Lights’ home has been at Glensheen. We can’t thank Marcia enough for choosing Glensheen as the new home for these lights, which have such a storied past.
Please note that only the outdoor light display is free. To experience the mansion and the magic of an Evening Candlelight Tour click HERE.
