Looking for physically distant, outdoor relaxation? Wednesday nights at Glensheen are where it’s at. Glensheen is continuing the popular event series from July and August into September.
There will be free Grounds Admission on Wednesday nights in September from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Enjoy a relaxing night with campfires, local beer & cider, a food truck, and live music for a family-friendly night by Lake Superior.
Music sets will be at 6:00 and 9:00 pm like this summer. Only in September, we have a few surprises for you in terms of WHERE the music will be on the estate.
We’re stepping up the music game with new experimental venue locations where the musician will play. Music will be in two different spots for each set. Just follow your ears to find where they are performing!
Grounds admission is free and open to the public. Access to buildings is not included. Mansion tours are not available Wednesday nights.
Picnics and food delivery are allowed, however, we encourage you to try the local food truck grub that’s available for purchase! The food trucks this month will be The Rambler and K&B Grilled Cheese, alternating each week. So come for dinner, and stay for the Wednesday night magic.
Watch the sunset over Lake Superior on a crisp fall night next to a campfire while you sip a local cider-like Duluth Cider or Wild State Cider. Psst! Glensheen is the only legal location in Duluth to get this close to Lake Superior with a drink. So don’t miss your chance!
PAIR THE EVENT WITH A TOUR OF GLENSHEEN!
Take a tour in the afternoon then head down to the lake for dinner, drinks, and an evening by the shore. Learn more about our tour offerings HERE.
